Burna Boy apologizes for his lateness at Lagos Concert, gives reasons

Self acclaimed African Giant, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has issued an apology to his fans, stating why his Lagos headline concert didn’t turn out as expected. The African singer and performer who sold out venues such as Madison Square Garden, State Farm Arena, and other venues around the world, headlined his first show for 2023 in Lagos, but things went a little sour. The event was expected to start by 6 p.m.(GMT +1) on January 1, 2022, but the African Giant was no where to be found on stage as at 3 a.m. (GMT +1) January 2, 2022, which got a lot of fans angry at the performer. He apologized to his fans on January 2nd, 2023, saying that, he and his band indeed arrive early for the show, but he couldn’t perform at the expected time due to the failure of the organizer to properly put the sound technicalities in place. Burna Boy also stated, as a future antidote to this recurring problem of poor concert planning and execution
