Wizkid had made an earlier announcement on his Instagram on January 18th 2023 that he will be going on a joint tour with the afrobeat superstar collegue, Davido. He went further to reveal that this tour was supposed to happen after his own tour promoting his album, “More Love, Less Ego” This announcement slowed to a standstill the widespread notion that the two musicians has an unspoken antagonism with each other. Neither Davido nor his management has made any direct response or reply to this announcement. However, the music star reacted to this instagram announcement by liking the post.
