Following the album’s successful launch on March 31, 2023, Davido has confirmed that the deluxe version is already in the works. During a press conference held to brief the media on the upcoming ‘The Timeless Concert’ scheduled for April 23, Davido spoke about the deluxe album, stating that he wants to ensure that the original ‘Timeless’ album receives the necessary promotion before releasing the deluxe version.
Davido’s decision to release a deluxe version of ‘Timeless’ comes after the album broke multiple streaming records in Nigeria, solidifying his position as the biggest artist on the African continent. The album surpassed the first week streaming records on Apple Music Nigeria, Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, and YouTube. Additionally, ‘Timeless’ also recorded the highest first-stream week of any African album on Apple Music while breaking the first-week streaming records of any African album on Audiomack.
During the press conference, Davido also gave fans a glimpse of what to expect at his upcoming concert at Tafawa Balewa Square, promising an unforgettable experience.
