Mr. Eazi Unveils Global Tour for ChopLife Soundsystem

Mr. Eazi, the African music sensation, is gearing up to provide fans in select cities around the world with an unforgettable experience as he announces the highly anticipated ChopLife Soundsystem world tour.

Following the recent release of their debut album, ‘Choplife Vol. 1: Mzansi Chronicles’, Mr. Eazi’s new music collective, ChopLife Soundsystem, has revealed the details of their inaugural global tour set to take place this summer.

The Choplife World Series 2023 tour will kick off on July 7 in Barcelona, Spain, and continue with performances across Europe in cities like Amsterdam, London, Paris, Berlin, and Stockholm throughout July and August. The North America leg will begin on August 25 in San Francisco, with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Boston, and New York City. Additional dates, including those in Africa, will be announced soon.

ChopLife Soundsystem, led by Nigerian superstar Mr. Eazi as the Minister of Enjoyment, brings together a fusion of amapiano, afrobeats, and Afrodance sounds. The group also features British-Kenyan selector DJ Edu, known for his work on BBC 1Xtra, who anchors the energetic performances.

Combining studio artistry with an electrifying live experience, ChopLife Soundsystem adds an African twist to the mobile sound systems that are the foundation of Jamaican dancehall culture. The tour coincides with the release of their debut album, ‘Chop Life, Vol. 1: Mzansi Chronicles’, on May 26. The 14-track album delves into the captivating world of Amapiano, the soulful dance music genre that has taken South Africa by storm and gained global recognition. It features collaborations with renowned South African artists such as Focalistic, Anaati, Ami Faku, Moonchild Sanelly, Major League Djz, Mellow & Sleazy, Nkosazana Daughter, 2woshort, Stompiiey, Mo-T, and Aymos.
