Nigerian music sensation Ruger has unveiled his long-awaited debut album, titled ‘Ru The World.’
Ever since his breakthrough in 2021 with the EP ‘Pandemic,’ Ruger has carved a prominent place for himself as one of the leading stars shaping the landscape of Nigerian mainstream music.
Building anticipation for his debut album, Ruger treated fans to the hit single ‘Asiwaju,’ followed by the captivating tracks ‘Jonzing Boy’ and ‘Kristy.’ Now, the multi-talented genre-blender has delivered ‘Ru The World,’ a 17-track masterpiece released on September 1, 2023.
This remarkable album features guest appearances from Kenya’s Grammy-winning superstar group Sauti Sol, Jamaican-British rapper Stefflon Don, Dancehall sensation Projexx, music production group Jugglerz, and singer Govanna. ‘Ru The World’ follows two successful EPs that showcased Ruger’s vast range, exceptional songwriting, versatility, and hitmaking prowess.
Ruger describes the album as a fusion of various sounds that offer listeners a rich and immersive musical journey. He states, “It’s just every element of Ru is in this album.
